Today we’re happy to announce the First Cohort to participate in Mover’s Private Alpha on Aptos Devnet. We worked hard to improve the user experience and make the testing process as smooth as possible.
Access for the First Cohort
Testing for the first Cohort is now open for the First Cohort.
The First Cohort consists of members of our community with the Mover Champion role. They will be able to be at the forefront of the Private Alpha and try out the bridge functionality first.
We look forward to their feedback, bug reports, and suggestions for improvement. The feedback will be posted on a special channel: #🏆┃champion-movers
To be eligible for the First Cohort rewards, Mover Champions will need to test the bridge until 24 October 0:00 UTC. Note that if you do not test within this timeslot, you can still participate, but you will be automatically re-assigned to the next cohort and your reward will be changed accordingly. We will announce the timeslots for the following cohorts on our Discord.
We have prepared detailed instructions on how to test the bridge. Please read it carefully.
Mainnet Launch
Bridges are critical DeFi infrastructure and our team is committed to delivering on the following key objectives:
- robust security: Mover is extremely difficult to attack, even for irrational adversaries. In the unlikely event of an attack, Mover’s automated watchdogs will prevent any losses.
- scalability: as more assets and chains are connected, Mover scales its capacity to meet demand.
- optimal user experience: users can interact with multiple assets and chains with only one transaction and intuitive UI.
Mover will launch on the Aptos mainnet after we complete the Private Alpha test and rigorous testing.
