Hello, Mover Community! Before our Mainnet launch, we’d like to take a look at the changes in the new version. We’ve added useful features that will make Mover even more convenient and easy to use.

The creative power of our community and the hard work of our team come together to build a truly secure and reliable platform. The main focus of our team at the moment is to expand the current functionality, and of course to release a public version of Mover on the main network.

We have carefully analyzed your comments on the Testnet feedback form. Simplicity and functionality of the user interface is always our top priority. The system that allows you to track transaction status was the most discussed feature and that’s where we focused our attention.

The list of major improvements:

  • Monitoring of current transactions
  • Detailed display of transaction fees

Now let’s look at each of them in more detail.

Monitoring of current transactions

After you send a transaction in either direction, you will see a modal window which will display its current status, as well as the time in which the transfer of the asset to the destination network will be completed.

The interface of the modal window will illustrate:

  • The number of tokens sent
  • Source and Destination networks.
  • The time required to receive the tokens in the destination network.
  • A progress bar illustrating time to receive the tokens in the destination network

This modal window can be minimized if desired to continue using the bridge.

You can also open transactions in the blockchain explorer of the respective networks when you click on the network icons.

You will be able to send an unlimited number of transactions in either direction in parallel.

After closing the modal window, transaction information will move to the special transactions panel, where you can also observe the status of your current transactions.

To bring back the modal window, you will just need to click on your transaction in the transaction panel.

There, when you pass each of the stages of movement, you can also click on the button “View transaction” to look at the implemented transactions in blockchain explorer.

Once the asset is delivered to the destination network, you will see the transaction as completed and by clicking on the “View transaction” button you can open both transaction links in the blockchain explorer:

  • of the sending network
  • of the receiving network

Detailed display of transaction fees

In the new version of Mover we’ve added a detailed display of the fees that will be charged for transactions over the bridge. Thus we make the experience of using Mover even more transparent and understandable.

  • Gas Fee illustrates the amount of tokens required to cover gas for transactions.
  • Bridging Fee illustrates the amount the protocol charges as a commission for its use.

This is the main functionality that we wanted to cover in this article.
