Dear Mover Community, another month has passed, and we can confidently say that it has been a very eventful month for all of us. In March, Mover held a Token Generation Event and significantly expanded the functionality and capabilities of the Mover Bridge. Below, we will provide more detailed information about each of these events.

Mover TGE

In March, our team accomplished a truly significant milestone for the entire Mover community, as most of you have some stake in the distribution of Mover tokens. We’ve successfully listed $MOVER on Bitget! It is also worth noting that this is only the first step in the long journey of token development. Ahead of us lie new milestones and achievements, and we will definitely keep you updated on our decisions and news.

Mover Pre-Staking Program

Alongside the launch of the Mover Claiming Platform, the Pre-Staking feature for $MOVER tokens was implemented, enabling IDO and Airdrop allocation owners to automatically earn additional tokens simply by holding them on the Mover Claiming Platform.

The program incentivizes holding tokens, and the APY grows according to the following rule:

  • 50% APY during the first 30 days of holding the tokens
  • 75% APY from 31st to 90th day of holding the tokens
  • 150% APY from 91st to 180th day of holding the tokens

You can find more detailed information about the Pre-Staking program here.

BNB Chain и Polygon Network

As always, we continue to expand the list of supported networks within the Mover ecosystem, striving to make Mover the most widely used bridge. In pursuit of this objective, we will keep adding new networks, with the aim of encompassing a broad spectrum, including both networks with high liquidity and those with innovative technologies.

In March we successfully added support for BNB Chain and Polygon Network. We chose them because they have truly enormous liquidity, and most web3 users store some portion of their assets on one of these networks. Additionally, these networks are known for their high speed and low gas fees.

Bridging Speed Comparison

At Mover, we place great emphasis on bridging speed, and it is crucial for us to have a thorough understanding of how fast other bridges are operating. In March, our team conducted an extensive comparative study on the speed of bridging between Aptos and BNB networks, and the results were outstanding! The study revealed that Mover outperforms its competitors in transferring liquidity between chains, demonstrating our exceptional ability to bridge the gap between different networks with lightning speed.

The detailed information can be read through this link.

Further Plans

In April, we plan to work on the following areas:

  • adding support several modern L2 EVM networks;
  • open-sourcing certain parts of Mover;
  • implementing a solution to improve user support for the bridge;
  • closed testing for bridging between Sui and both EVM and non-EVM networks;
  • finishing specification of the liquidity mining and staking programs;
  • improving of the informativeness of our website;
  • continue our research in a direction of ZK-powered bridging

We will definitely announce all of our updates on our social media channels, so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned!
