2. Connect your Pontem Wallet Chrome browser extension.
Switch Pontem Wallet to Aptos Devnet as shown below:
Click Faucet button to get some gas for your Devnet account:
If you haven’t yet installed Pontem Wallet, please install it from Google Chrome Webstore.
3. Connect your Metamask Wallet (https://metamask.io/)
Make sure that you have chosen the Goerli testnet. You can click on your current network and pick Goerli from the dropdown list as shown in the screenshot below. If you don’t see Goerli Testnet, go to Settings -> Advanced and choose “Show test networks”.
In case you don’t see Goerli testnet option in the list of networks, go to Settings -> Advanced and enable test networks there as shown above.
4. Next, you need to get some Goerli test tokens.
For testing purposes, you’ll need some Goerli ETH and Goerli USDC.
You can get Goerli USDC the official faucet https://usdcfaucet.com/. Please make sure that you select ETH as a network (see the screenshot below).
To get Goerli ETH, you can use Chainlink faucet: https://faucets.chain.link/
In the following steps, we will describe how to bridge USDC tokens.
5. Enter the amount that you want to send and click Approve button in Pontem. This will allow you to receive bridged tokens.
5. Next Approve access to your Goerli USDC in the Metamask.
6. After you approve both sending your USDC on Goerli and receiving them on Aptos, click Send to Aptos and confirm the bridging transaction. Transfering your tokens from Goerli to Aptos should take around 30 seconds. You should see the aUSDC token in your wallet when bridging is completed!
7. When you have sent your tokens to Aptos, you can now bridge them back to Goerli. Choose Aptos as a source chain and Goerli as a destination chain, and click Send.
8. After you complete bridging Goerli USDC, you can do the same thing for Goerli ETH.
